I just got back from hanging out with a couple of friends. She is finally getting married, and now we can all hang out as couples. Yeah! We ate a Abuelo's...and I am full! Full of it,that is why my eyes are brown...lol...just kidding. It was good, fun, and nice. We were all laughing about how we have all made stupid decisions in our lives.

Here is a good joke:

Dear Diary, Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those
expensive, double-pane, energy-efficient kind. Then, this week I got a call from
the contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the work had been
completed a whole year ago and I still hadn't paid for them.
Now just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid. So,
I told him just what his fast talking sales guy had told me last year.
Namely, that in ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves!
Helllooooo? It's been a year!
There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally just hung
up. He didn't call back.
Bet he felt dumb!

My blonde friend sent it to me. I think that all blonde jokes originate from my friend....lol...No, she really is not ditzy. I should have been born the blonde. Huhhhh?

Things about getting older that I don't like:
a) white nose hairs- For those of you with lighter hair, you might not notice them as much as I do.
b) crows feet- It looks great on a man; but, on a woman...grody.
c) a stray hair on my chin- Yes, I found one today; it was like the ones that my FH has on his chin.
d) feet look old- the tops of my feet look older, like more wrinkly. Feet shouldn't look old!
e) long nose hairs- What the heck? There is hair growing out of my nose!
f) the inability to stay up late- If I stay up past 2 on the weekends, I am still going to be dead tired 3 days later.
g) the inability to stay in bed for a long time- I love my sleep, and if I sleep too long-my body hurts.
h) I am either buring up, or cold at any given point in time. Hello? Is this a sign of menopause? If so, I am tired of menstral cycles.
i) I love sleeping late, and the days that I can...I can't. And, the days that I can't...I am dying to.
j) sags- Yes, some sags look like saks...but don't be fooled.

Enough whinning...I have had enough cheese.

Things that I do like:
a) more finicially stable.
b) not having a landlord...not that it is bad-it is nice paying for what I live in, and seeing a return when I move out.
c) feeling grown up. Like wow...this is what it is like to be responsible!
d) having one job for years...never thought that I would not be a waitress.
e) vacations with my husband...First of all, never thought I would be married again...lol...second of all, it is fun to go with my best friend.
f) not taking things for granted- After making horrible choices in life, I see that my life is a Blessing.
g) realizing that my above whinning was about physical appearance, and that because of the previous f) all of my greivances about getting older is nonsense...when I am more spiritually fit. :)

Have a fabulous Easter weekend.

What I DON'T like about not having a landlord: Hot water heaters. If it bursts, it costs ME money. Good thing about growing up is just ONE W2 when doing taxes!!! Bad thing: personal property taxes. I buy a car, pay over $1000 in sales tax, then 2 months later, I get a bill for over $500 for personal property tax FOR THE SAME FREAKING CAR!!! At least I'm not bitter!!!!
:)
