Life...
As we get older, we get to see our kids go through the same changes that we went through. And, sometimes...they don't get it, like I didn't get it. (like, when we tell you...you are now grown.)

When one is grown, one gets to pay bills even though one doesn't want to do so.
When one is grown, one gets to buy groceries for oneself...and discover how much groceries cost.
When one is grown, one doesn't need a taxi ride around to save one's gas.
When one is grown, one gets to replace broken things.
When one is grown, one gets to be responsible for ones actions.
When one is grown, one understands why calling too late is not as considerate.
When one is grown, one will then get to pass these things off to their "grown's" one day.

Wow, when I was young, I didn't quite appreciate things that parents did, until I was grown. :)
