Today, I put on the board... "I don't care if Monday's blue. Tuesday's grey and Wed. too. Thursday, I don't care about you. It's Friday, I'm in love." The Cure. A few weeks ago, I put on the board..."It's just another Manic Monday, I wish it were Sunday. Cause that's my fun day. I don't have to run day. It's just another Manic Monday." The Bangles. One girl said "Gosh when you were younger, there were a lot of songs about days of the week." My kids love coming to class and seeing what I put on my board. :) It is like a special surprise to them. Somedays are thrilling, terrific, magnificant, wonderful, wonderific...and then there are the special treats like song lyrics of when I was a kid.
Today, we played a game with cards. It is a fraction game. And, they loved it. Next week, we are going to write some music to go along with addition of fractions. They think that I am crazy because I love fractions. :)
My son is doing well. He made strait A's this term. :) That is nothing new. :) I reallly have a great son. He has always been a good child. He never messed with stuff that wasn't his. He wasn't collicly. He has always been my little boy. I can't only hope that when the time comes, I like who he decides to marry. You might think that I am crazy, I mean he is only nine. But time goes by so fast...
My daughter is still working at the movie theatre. :) She got some award from school about having great behavior, or very pleasant...And, I am proud of her. Jason came home, and I thought that he was going to cry. She has come a long way...baby. :)
So,...have you noticed that I use so and .... a lot? so, hmmmm....

Tomorrow night, we are going to a halloween party. I am going in my 80's get up, my son is going as a ninja, his friend I don't know yet. Here is the best! Jason is going to wear a Mullet. YES, my husband is going to wear a mullet! It is like a bleached out black. So, basically is it orange. You know what I love? I love that Jason and I can be dorks together. He is going to wear a jacket with no shirt, and some funky sunglasses. :) I can't wait!

Let's see, next weekend, we are going to Branson with my in-laws. (I think.) They are really fun people. I am blessed to have married into a wonderful family. They believe that family is important also. They love kids, and are at the age where they enjoy them.

Jason said that when his kids have kids, I won't be as into being a baby sitter...as when I am older. I gently said "you are probably right." Only because they are much older than my son. Meaning, I am young enough to still have a baby if I wanted to. And, not old enough to be a grandparent. We will see. His kids might actually shock me, and wait a few years.
